On July 11th, 2019 the fountain at Lipschitzallee was ceremoniously reopened with large attendance of citizens. After 20 years of downtime, the fountain as an important factor for the identity of the Gropiusstadt residents was renovated in cooperation with ifw Berlin. Now, Gropiusstadt has its striking 5 m high fountain back.
