3rd prize in the “Berlin – Spree Küste” workshop procedure

The team Bernd Albers Architekten and FUGMANN JANOTTA PARTNER are awarded with  3rd prize in the urban planning workshop procedure “Berlin – Spreeküste”. Two 1st prizes go to the two project teams Eckert Negwer Suselbeek Architekten with Freiraumplanung Wolf and O&O Baukunst with capattistaubach. Congratulations!

The aim of the workshop process is to develop an urban development model for the almost 30-hectare area between Rummelsburger Bucht and Oberschöneweide, opposite Plänterwald. In addition, a development concept is being sought for the 3 ha realization part between Köpenicker Chaussee and Hoher Wallgraben. For the Archigon GmbH site, ideas are needed that correspond to the building volume and mix of uses of the site and its special features. The location between the city centre and the outskirts, the Spree recreational area, the listed buildings and the busy Köpenicker Chaussee arterial road are fundamental determinants.

Further information on the procedure can be found on the website of the Bezirksamt Treptow-Köpenick. Learn more about our contribution to the workshop procedure here.
