Good news: Our team has been selected to further develop the submitted structure and land-use concept for the new urban quarter Dreieck Späthsfelde! Together with Christoph Kohl Stadplaner Architekten and Hoffmann-Leichter Engineers, we will now refine our concept and translate it into a comprehensive framework plan. We are delighted by the trust placed in us and the opportunity to help shape this distinctive location.
The planned quarter will cover approximately 100 hectares and is designed around a community-oriented and largely climate-neutral concept. It will include residential and commercial uses, high-quality green and open spaces, and the careful integration of existing allotments as well as the historic Späth Nursery Gardens.
On 28 October 2025, the advisory panel made its decision: our team’s proposal was selected as the preferred concept. The second phase will now begin, focusing on the revision and further development of the concept. The framework plan is scheduled to be drafted from mid-2026, with the preparatory investigations expected to continue until the end of 2027.
As part of the public participation process, a public exhibition will be held from 14 to 21 November 2025 at the Späth Nursery Gardens. All revised proposals from the three interdisciplinary planning teams will be presented, providing an excellent opportunity for everyone to engage with the project. Look forward!
