With the exhibition on the teaching and research project Peter Behrens in Berlin and Brandenburg” the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences cordially invites everyone to rediscover the architectural heritage of the father of modernism and to discover its significance for the transformation project BE-U | Behrens-Ufer in Berlin-Oberschöneweide.
The exhibition in the light hall at the Peter-Behrens-Bau presents under the title “Retrospective and Perspective” the results of students of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, original graphics and design objects from Behrens, as well as designs and scenarios for the future development of the area. Using diverse methods of representation such as photographs and models, the built and preserved work in the region is remembered to participate in the debate on the future of preservation and construction.
Thanks to the great interest and support of DIEAG, all interested parties can also gain an insight into the planned future of the BE-U | Behrens-Ufer. In addition to contributions from renowned architectural firms involved in the project, FJP is also represented in the “Outlook and Vision” section. On the subject of open space, we present our biodiversity concept and the conceptual approach of open space planning for the BE-U | Behrens-Ufer.
The exhibition will open with a reception on 27.04.2024 at 17:00. Everyone interested has the opportunity to discover the versatile exhibition and the exciting place until 25 May.
