Commissioned by the city of Munich, a zoning concept will be developed for the former S-Bahn and industrial railway track west of the Olympic Park. Prospectively, a green corridor for protected species as well as a green leisure route for all generations will be set up. The concept zoning and the future use of will be completed till autumn 2016. Next to nature conservation and historic preservation, activities, a network of paths and recreation are in the focus and the different requirements and the usage demands are being discussed, weighted and spatially assigned. Subsequently, suggested measures and principles of open space design will be developed.
