2020 Office Outing – New Landscapes

This year‘s office outing was dominated by new anthropogenic follow-up landscapes. The first destination of the hike in summery temperatures led from Berlin-Buch through the Bogenseekette and Lietzengrabenniederung nature reserve to the former Hobrechtsfelde sewage fields.

Moabit Freight Station Memorial opening

On 11 June 2017, the Moabit Freight Station Memorial was opened in Berlin-Moabit between Quitzowstraße and Ellen-Epstein-Straße. The site commemorates the deportation of more than 30,000 Jews from the former Moabit freight station to the extermination camps.
