Second planning workshop on “paths and pastures” for the “Hönower Weiherkette” nature reserve

P1040151

About 40 local residents, experts, conservationists and representatives of the city and borough administrations, as well as other interested parties, attended the second planning workshop on 6 April 2017 concerning the planned grazing of Scottish highland cattle on part of the “Hönower Weiherkette” nature reserve in the borough of Marzahn-Hellersdorf. The focus of the event was on discussing two alternatives for the future grazing area in the eastern part of the nature reserve. In addition to the contributions from the FJP planners and the professional assistance of the engineering firm Prof. Dr. Sieker mbH, it was above all the open-minded participants who accounted for the success of the event. The specific results of the multi-stage participation process are to be announced at a final event in the second half of the year.
