On 25 October 2023, DIE Deutsche Immobilien Entwicklungs AG (DIEAG) celebrated the start of the BE-U | Behrens-Ufer project with a symbolic ground-breaking ceremony. The 300 invited guests included numerous project and planning partners, as well as the Governing Mayor Kai Wegner (CDU).
