Our development concept for the main cemetery of the City of Gransee represents a new thematic area for us. The City of Gransee has engaged us to develop the concept in light of an aging society and new trends in burial culture. Based on a thorough analysis of the current status, the concept defines a model for restructuring the cemetery and describes work packages which will be feasible in the near, medium and long terms. The restructuring project will secure and strengthen the identity, history and potential of the site. The cemetery is to be a place not only for the dead but for the living as well, providing opportunities not only for remembering the departed, but for recreation as well.
